Brand Logistics
Alsa Carriers is our sister company and a family owned logistics business that is currently 33 years old. Our trucks deliver locally within South Africa and cross border into the SADC countries. Having our own logistics fleet means we are able to own our entire supply chain from production of branded equipment to delivery of product to client.
Our Fleet:
The company comprises of a medium sized fleet, which is made up of 12 trucks, 32 trailers which are made up of 6m skeletal trailers, 12m flatbed trailers, 12m retractable trailers and abnormal trailers with drive on. We also have a 5 tonner, an 8 tonner and 3 bakkies. All our vehicles are monitored through excellent tracking and fleet management systems. We are online 24 hours to monitor any of our vehicles via the internet and all other digital and mobile devices.
Abnormal Loads:
When abnormal loads are transported on our national road, we must apply for the necessary permits which we obtain from the National Road Authority Board. This being permits for weight and dimension depending on the abnormality of the loads. We follow all the requirements that are required by the authority which result in hassle free transportation of your cargo or containers.
Hazardous Cargo:
Our vehicles are also equipped to transport hazardous cargo and containers. All our drivers are fully trained by a certified hazardous training academy which is registered and approved by the Department of transport. All cargo and containers transported by us must be clearly identified with hazardous stickers and the trem card prior to the transportation taking place. Our drivers are fully equipped to handle cargo and containers of this nature.
