Our Ethical Obligation
We are committed to care of our Environment, our People, our Clients, our Communities and our Country.
Our vision is to be one of the most responsible manufacturers and service providers in the branding industry, as a result sustainability is core to our business – it impacts everything that we do. It has been entrenched into the culture of our people and collectively we own our ethical obligation to all we come in contact with.
Our Five Ethical Obligations
Putting South Africans First
A better future for communities
Ethical Sourcing
Ensuring transparency and traceability of our supply chain
Carbon Footprint
Repair, Recycle and Repurpose
Energy
A transition to a low carbon economy
People
Social Development
As a responsible manufacturer, we must contribute to meeting the economic and societal needs of the communities where we operate. We have introduced the ‘’NO CV’s’’ initiative that seeks to search the Kasi for talent. As a beverage branding specialist we spend almost every day in the main market trade.
Our CEO has said this:
My time in the trade has afforded me a powerful experience that has strengthened my passion to create sustainable impact in communities by helping others to recognize and develop their gifts and talents.
Ethical Sourcing
Brand EEE has made a commitment to source all raw material within the borders of South Africa. We will be guided by Proudly South African on which suppliers to use. Proudly South African is the country’s buy local advocacy campaign. This industry body vets their members strictly against four key criteria being local content, quality, labour, and environmental policy. We use suppliers that are vetted by Proudly South African as we know they meet the requirements of an ethical professional and local supplier.
Carbon Footprint
Brand EEE supplies a complete product to each of our clients. The sales process does not end once the goods are delivered. We offer our clients a sustainable option of (RRR) repair, recycle or repurpose. We repair branding that is broken. We recycle branding that has passed its warranty period. The recycling of product ensures that no fabric or hardware ends up in landfills. We also repurpose product. Reusing and repurposing puts us more in charge of the waste we create, which makes us much more conscious of having to deal with it. What’s more, and much more importantly, is that when we reuse and repurpose, we are apt to reduce our consumption, figuring out how to avoid packaging and waste.
Energy
We are the first branding company to launch solar powered Parasols and Gazebos. The South African Energy Crisis, most notably manifesting in the form of successive rounds of load shedding, is an ongoing period of widespread national level rolling blackouts as electricity supply falls behind electricity demand threatening to destabilize the national power grid. The township economy has been adversely affected by load shedding, alcohol bans and jobs loss. As an ethical branding company we decided to do our bit to reduce energy consumption and to assist the taverns with off the grid lighting in their outdoor spaces.
